Omaya starts work on second OMAYA 50 hull

Luxury power catamaran brand Omaya Yachts has announced the start of work on its second hull of the debut model, the OMAYA 50.

As anticipation builds for the first hull due to hit the water this spring, the Bulgarian manufacturers already have the second hull underway as interest in the luxury catamarans gathers speed.

Kaloyan Radulov, co-founder and CEO of Omaya Yachts said: “We are so close to introducing the first OMAYA 50 to the world and seeing our vision come to life. There is no slowing down at Elica Yard as work is well underway for the second hull with plans for a 62ft and 80ft in the mix. We now have a network of six dealers worldwide to support our clients through the Omaya purchase process and we’re really looking forward to potential clients being able to enjoy the OMAYA 50 in person.”

Aiming to manufacture luxury power catamarans for the private and charter markets, the OMAYA 50 is a 50ft luxury catamaran with a best-in-class beam of 8.4 metres, which provides unrivalled livable space exceeding 150 sq.m. within the lower and main decks, as well as its lavish flybridge.

The bow area’s layout is focused on creating a comfortable social space which ensures lazy days soaking up the sun can be enjoyed. Boasting large sunbeds, ample comfortable seating areas and open deck space, the yacht is designed with socialising and entertaining in mind, with the potential of longer-term living on board, not just holidays.

Available in two configurations for the lower deck, with the owner version providing a large master cabin covering the entire port side, complete with a double bed, sofa, desk and vanity area, integrated wardrobe and large ensuite offering a toilet, bidet and a full standing shower. Two further double guest cabins are on the starboard side with ensuite bathrooms with the option of a crew cabin and crew bathroom or up to two crew cabins.

Omaya yachts are created at Elica Yard, situated on the banks of the Danube, with the yard aiming to lead the manufacture of luxury power catamarans for the private and charter markets with owners Elica Group’s 30 years of experience in manufacturing behind it.
